How To Create A Pinned Post on Facebook
Introducing Power Pins
Power pin is my signature term Facebook pinned posts. There are two types of power pins: 1) The Intro Pin and 2) The Proof Pin.
The Intro Pin
The Intro Pin serves as a brief introduction about your business, a unique selling proposition, and a strong call to action.
For example, an intro pin can a welcome video that says, “Hi, my name is Jane Smith, I help home buyers and sellers in Seattle, Washington. I specialize in ocean front homes. Thinking of buying or selling? Click here for a free home evaluation.”
The Proof Pin
The Proof Pin builds authority and trust.
It can be a strong testimonial post or video right at the top of your page. Or, it can be a viral post that received high engagement (i.e. likes, comments, and shares).
So imagine if a potential seller lands on your Facebook page before your listing appointment, and they see your Power Pin… That’s something that’s really going to shape the way that the seller looks at you and your brand prior to that listing appointment.
Instant Credibility (Even If You’re New To Real Estate)
The beauty of the Power Pin is that it builds instant credibility – Along with trust and authority. This is because a viral post or a video testimonial is hard to fake. On a viral post, the analytics come directly from Facebook. On a video testimonial or Zillow review, the proof is right there.
This proof can be the difference between getting the listing (or not). This proof can solidify you as the agent of choice in their minds.
